Ouch. The Daily Beast: Why Men Settle (via jessbennett)
Is this depressing or freeing? Is this cynicism or optimism?
My immediate reaction was: I’m so glad that someone else has had this thought, to the point that they believe it’s a universal condition.
Followed by: Wow. Upon...
Tell Us How You #promotewomen →

Last week, we asked you to do your part to end the gender gap in your industry by promoting women through your networks. The five-minute task: Find three up-and-coming women in your field. Pair them with three established professionals. Then connect them via three quick, personal emails.
In the past week, we’ve heard from women nominated for bonuses within their companies, recommended to...

Plus breaking up with the guy who I had thought was perfect, who I had been crazy about and told my family that I could see spending the rest of my life with. A draining...
Let today be a day of grace for you. Be gentle with and kind to yourself....

February 1st
Despite not getting home until 15 min ago, I still managed to get in Day 1 of this.
Unrelated: I had no idea what a luxury it was to have a walk-in clinic on campus at school with several general practitioners with specializations until I started having an urgent-but-not-quite-ER-urgent issue that I can’t get a (in-network) specialist to address until February 14. (That is two weeks from...
